Time flies when you are having fun!!!

All of this activity is wearing H out!

H loves the playground here - especially the tunnel!

Peek-a-boo!

We have been enjoying the cooler weather here and had a picnic by the library!

Enjoying some Domenico's bread!

Sharing an orange with Mama

Swimming with SweetHart
He loved watching the big boys jump in the pool!

After supper reading with AK!
They have similar taste in books!

Visiting AK at work, he loved tasting some of Mama's chocolate drink!
And his very own mini doughnut - although his nap severely suffered due to the sugar and chocolate.

H has figured out how to climb up on the couch, and his favorite game is to climb onto it while Pop is on the computer.
H grabs Pop's hand....

And then Pop tackles him with tickles!
H gets a twinkle in his eye when he heads for the couch.

Fingerpaint!

I made some fingerpaints today, thought we would try them out with AK - H's very artsy aunt!
We knew it would be fun and exciting, but it surpassed our expectations!
Ingredients:
One set of fingerpaints
One artsy aunt
One supportive grandmother
One Mama with a camera
Old shower curtain on the floor
and one stripped-down baby!

I will let the pictures speak for themselves!

By this point, I think he'd had enough!

Peaches and brushes

H has been enjoying the wonderful fresh farmers market fruits - strawberries, nectarines, peaches, cherries, apricots and more! Sometimes he likes them more than others, and tonight he REALLY liked the white peach we shared.

Then, he and AK went and brushed their teeth together. He tried to persuade her to let him use her toothbrush.... but she just wouldn't share!

Hikes, slides and stories

PopHart thought it would be fun to take H (and his Mama) on a hike at the Lafayette Resevoir. We had fun! They had a Tot Lot where all of the toys and play structures were just his size!

Playing on the xylophone.

Peek-a-boo!

Weee!

In front of the resevoir with Pop and SweetHart

We also went to story time at the library. It was a lot of fun, but a little overwhelming. A lot of kids and songs...

And then after naptime he had his own storytime with SweetHart

More sunny days

Super H~!

We have been enjoying a some more sunny days here - and plenty of time outside! The temperature has been around 50 in the mornings, and no more than 90 (with low humidity) in the afternoons! Divine!

Eating a chocolate covered banana at the Farmer's market.

Enjoying fresh strawberries and apricots from the Market.

To grandmother (and grandfather's) house we go!

We are finally here at SweetHart and PopHart's house! We have been preparing and planning for the last few days - practicing with the portable DVD player, creating new pages (pictures soon) for the quiet book, and packing and praying for a flight with not too many tears!

And we made it! Except for a few tears while he was trying to fall asleep on the plane, H was very well behaved! He slept a little, watched a couple videos (I guess the fact that he doesn't watch much at home paid off - his eyes were glued to the screen!), played with the quiet book, made friends with a few other babies on the plane, and learned the sign for plane too!

Lunch at the airport - he loved the rosemary foccacia bread from my sandwich.

H and AK (Aunt Karen) have been best buddies since we arrived. This little ledge is their "spot" where they crawl to, sit and talk on, crawl to the mirror, and then back again! He loves AK! This morning during breakfast he was bringing her all of his best toys here and telling her about them.

We walked over to the park at the greenbelt and played. We all had fun!

Reading with SweetHart (he says 'DaDurt' and calls PopHart 'Bop').
Doesn'tthis picture make you want your grandma?

He found a chair that he can climb on. Doesn't he look guilty?

Mmmm. Water (which he signs and calls 'wuget')
Good times, and I am loving having a little bit of down time - with so many playmates for H here, I am not sure quite what to do with myself!
