After too many ear infections last year and several already since school started this year, we made the decision to go ahead and get tubes in C's ears. He has done pretty good with all of the ear infections, but it seems to have increased his case of the "terrible threes!" (At least I'm hoping that was a major contributing factor!) Everything went pretty well, and the medicine that they gave him before the procedure that made him a little loopy was hilarious!
After getting over the grogginess and an asthma type reaction after the procedure, he was doing pretty good.
It didn't take him too long to get back to his usual self, headstands on the couch and all!
The boys were so cute talking to each other on facetime that night.
H stayed away that night because C and I were going to have such an early morning.
They love each other so much, and it seems strange for us and them when they are apart.
But then a few days later he was back in the doctors office with a horrible ear infection, worse than he's ever had before. He was still a great trooper, but I know he was hurting bad. Ear drop antibiotics, oral antibiotics, and a shot, the doctor cleaned his ears out really good, and hopefully we will be in good shape now. She said if we can just keep him healthy for a couple of weeks he should be set, so I'm hopeful we can achieve that!
