On Monday, H's class went to the "Pumpkin Hatch." (We kept correcting him that it was the pumpkin Patch, but he was just not hearing it!) He was so excited! They walked the two blocks from their school to the church were the pumpkins were. They made it surprisingly quickly. Me and C met them there to take pictures.
They each got to pick their own pumpkin! H was happy that they wrote his name on it. He really likes having his name on things these days. He also thinks that any word that begins with a capital H is his name!
"Pumpkin!"
"Cheese!"
C seemed pretty happy to keep his distance from the chaos
With the teachers this time.
Miss Kathie on the left(Miss Haffy as H says) and Miss Stephanie on the right (Miss Snefany or Miss Teffany as he says)
I am impressed that they can keep this group of ragamuffins in line!
Back to school!
H didn't even bother to say goodbye! I guess I should be glad that it didn't make a big difference that we were there. He seemed to be happy doing his own big boy school thing!
He was very excited to tell us that you can cook pumpkins and make soup or muffins with them, and that pumpkins float in the water. I would have liked to see that experiment at school!
What a big boy, and what a fun first field trip! I'd say that H definitely likes school!
