Snapshots

A benefit to teaching at the same school the boys attend is that I often run into cuties in the hallway!

This was C's place setting at the table one night.  He was either preparing for something or planning on something big happening!

I ran into another cutie in the hallway.  We had ourselves a little one minute party and took some silly selfies because no one else was around.

H reading to Tatum one night.  Tatum was such a good listener!

H's dream for the world is for all of the kids (even the kids in the North Pole) to have a bike to ride on.
I think that is a pretty good dream that would bring happiness to all!

We went to see Norm of the North with Alex this weekend.  They thought it was so cute!  C especially liked the "lemons" (the lemmings).

Oh Leonard... he loves the sun!

Some of C's coloring doodles during church this weekend.  He would chuckle to himself after he completed most of them.

C's job one day was to put the utensils away.
He wasn't very concerned that they all made it to the correct spot.

Happy boys in TMNT pjs!  Our friend gave us her child's outgrown pjs.  They were both so happy to have them, that they suggested we take a picture to send to our friend.  They also decided how they would pose.
I think it turned out pretty cute!

Snapshots

The cats are starting to think more about being friends with each other.
Not quite friends yet, but at least they are thinking about it.

We headed to the school to ride bikes/play, but it was colder than I thought.
Me and C stayed warm together in the car while H ran off his (boundless) energy.

 Ribs for supper!
H LOVES ribs!!! He ate all of his and finished mine off too! Eyes closed, some quiet moaning, and all.  Happy boy, happy belly.
(And Tatum snuck a leftover bone when he thought no one was looking).

 Sunday smiles.

 Sunday afternoon pillow fight.
(Tatum was on the bed too and slept right through the whole thing!)

C's homework.  Huge improvement from August.
He especially had a hard time with the 2's and 5's, but now he does pretty good!

H's spelling words and sentences.
He can write very nicely (when he wants to).

An intense game of super hero Go Fish.

Proud of this Honor Roll boy!
We both worked hard for that!  He's doing very well in school, and I am so proud of him!

C went to a fun Rodeo birthday party from a friend from school.  He had a good time (as long as they didn't ask him to wear a blindfold or be spun around.).

Getting back to routine

We started to put away our Christmas decorations.
H came to me and said "Look!  The manger animals are in the circus!"

We had an adventure getting the new tires Pop got us for Christmas (thanks Pop!)
It was a fun new experience for them.

 Some Sunday night silliness!
I have fun (most of the time) with my silly boys!

I also discovered that H decided that the Christmas decoration would make a great Lego Star Wars display.

We have discovered the "how to draw " Pokemon (for H) and animals (for C) videos on YouTube.
They have been doing pretty good with them.

Back to the homework routine.  They both were not very happy about that part...
They've both also been saying how tired they are lately.  Me too!

They thought their hat hair was hilarious!

New Years fun!

The boys kept saying "Happy Fourth of July!" and H said at one point (on New Years Eve) "IT's THE 26TH!!!" so, whatever day it was, we celebrated good and had fun.

Fireworks with friends!

We made some "cinna rolls" (or "cimrolls" as C calls them) for a fun New Years breakfast.

We went to skate town for some New Years fun.  The boys love skating. Especially H.

C was worn out after awhile, saying his skates were too heavy so he came to sit down while H (the blurry skater in the picture) skated, and skated, and skated!

We brought some of our cinnamon rolls (it makes a lot) to friends and family on New Years.
We brought some to PawPaw and Missy

And to Mary Ann and Nanny

And then set off the rest of our fireworks that night after eating our black-eyed peas and cabbage.

I'm planning on a great year!
