Because sometimes you just need to read a book in a box!

And some days we just need extra coffee in the morning!
(I really don't share coffee with Horton.  It had water that I was rinsing it out with)

Even super heroes need their sleep!

We had just seen Storks at the movie theater (sleep buddies and 3D glasses) and went on the merry go round.
C got so dizzy on the spinny seat and said "My imagination is upside down!"

The weather isn't quite so hot lately and we've been enjoying more time outside.
(But by now it hasn't rained in almost a month and these chalk drawings are still on the driveway...)

Scouting Fun

The boys helped sell popcorn for the Boy Scouts fundraiser.
They did great, and were great salesman, so much braver than I would have been at their age.
C earned more than any of the other boys!
He would say "Would you like some popcorn?  Or you can just give us some money!"
Its a good thing he's still cute and little!

There was a scouting day at the zoo with all sorts of games and activities led by the older boys.
The boys all earned beads and a badge for participating.
 Parachute games

 Tug-of-war

 Face painted paw prints

Trying to light a cotton ball on fire with a flint.
They both got close, but never quite got it to catch on fire.

They enjoy the Wolf Pack meetings.  It was all sorts of team work games.

While the big brothers were doing their activities, the little brothers were playing in their "fortress!"

I love these lazy weekend afternoons.

 C's classwork.
I love to see what they come home with, and the little doodles on their pages.

 Back at the doctor...
C has had two rounds of strep since school started.

Staring contest with Tatum.
I'm not sure who won though.  There was a lot of laughing and licking going on.

One of H's doodles from school.
"King Rainbow and His Poodle"

We've enjoyed swimming on the weekends now that school is back,
and dipping popsicles in Pop Rocks

One of the Boy Scout activities was about bugs, they had to make their own bugs.
This was C's "daddy long legs."  H ate his before I could get a picture, but he didn't like that C's spider only had 4 legs...

They were really taken by the carpet in a waiting room one day.  I'm glad we were the only ones there, because all of the sudden they were both on the floor making carpet angels!

At Eskamoes for our Friday snow cones.  Love these boys!

Some of C's work from school.
He "checked" his own work.
