A week in snapshots

 Silly/cute boys!  

Just hanging out after school was over. 

 H came to me one morning and said he was ready for school...

But he had forgotten to put his clothes on!  

So silly!

 Grocery shopping with C.  

He saw a cabbage leaf on the floor and just knew that it was the perfect cap! 

He put it on and kept walking up to all of the ladies/grandmothers and saying "Hey!  Look at me!" and he gave all of them a good chuckle! 

 First major school project done!!

It was a 3D neighborhood map, and H planned it out, created it, and put it together.  I think it all turned out pretty good, and it was a lot less painful than I expected it to be.

 We happened to drive by while our local high school was having their marching band practice.  The boys had fun climbing the bleachers, conducting and marching to the beat of the band!  I think we will do that again!

 Building new houses behind ours.  The boys love to go pretend to ride on the tractors and to check out all of the construction progress.  When we go back there, the boys all of the sudden take on these deep and manly sounding voices.

 Boy scout fun!  They made marshmallow shooters last night, and then sent the boys out to try them out.  It made me a little nervous to have all of those boys out there with those, but no one got too hurt!  So much fun!  C didn't have a shooter, but he was running up to all of the boys saying "You can't get me!!!"  They love boy scouts!  

Handsome boy!  I caught him right in front of the sun while we watched marching band practice.  

Week in Snapshots

 Our first illness of the year, H came home with strep throat last week!  He was so pitiful, and it was so different from his usual (very) busy self.  C and I took care of H and I think the day off did all of us some good. 

 H left a sweet love note for me!  

 I saw C out on the playground!

 Friday night pizza and movie night.  

We love our Friday nights!

 This weekend was the cotton festival/fair in Bastrop, so we went, rode some rides, had fresh lemonade and kettle corn, and a great time!

We filled the rest of the weekend with school projects (for H) and a lot of bubble blowing for both boys!

 I actually accomplished a lot from my to-do list too!  We got a lot done this weekend!

A week in snapshots

 C had about a week where he was so tired after school that he fell asleep on the way home each day.

 The boys found the "candy canes" when we were picking up some cold medicine at the store.  They had fun pretending to be "so old."

 H had fun at his first boy scouts meeting.

H loves Legos!  Instead of creating little structures, he loves to make little guys,  Lots and lots of little Lego guys!

Moments

Hula - hooping.  The boys have enjoyed having a little play time after school to get a little energy out.  

Last year we had long days and they didn't have time to play.

 It was so hot, but we all had fun anyway.

H has really been into building little lego creatures lately.  He makes cute little guys and a pet for each.
