We were all so excited when SweetHart came for a quick visit
because her side of the family was having a reunion.
After school Friday we headed to a local state park for lots of cousin and family time.
The youngest generation fell right into step with each other.
SweetHart led all of the little ones on a nature hike with nature journals to write in.
H was looking at the leaf and bark details of a tree.
C was so happy about the "T" stick that he found.
The cousins, especially the boys spent a lot of time on the dock by the water.
Fishing, watching the herons, and dipping their toes in every now and again.
I think C would have spent the whole weekend right on the dock if I would have let him!
H was soooo happy about the hammock that a cousin brought.
I was sure he was going to dump himself out, but he just turned himself over, wrapped himself up, and had a blast!
