A little afternoon "ark"

Last week I found this awesome art desk at Goodwill. I had been wanting somewhere for H to do some art that was contained and could stay ready and where I could keep an eye on him - to make sure that there were not any on-the-wall art projects. This was perfect, and only $4!

H has really been enjoying stickers lately, and thankfully I have a stash of stickers that I've been saving for years. He likes for me to draw circles and other shapes and put the stickers in the shapes.

He almost spends as much time sorting and organizing the crayons as he does drawing with them! The crayons are stored in an old gift card tin - the perfect size!

The lid of the tray flips over - one side works with dry erase markers and the other is a chalk board. He likes to "gribble' (scribble) and then wipe off all of the chalk.

And there is storage space under the lid! A perfect art tray for a little guy, and hopefully it will grow with him for many years!

Brother enjoyed watching from the jumper after he woke up

Last week we went to a Mommy and Me art class - he seems so grown up now!
We did marble painting and he was very proud of his masterpieces. I told him that we were going to do some art, and he seemed very excited. When we were in the car on our way to the art class, he asked where Noah's Ark was. Ha ha! Now when he does art on his tray he says he is doing "ark."
