Ginger's house

The local moms group had a gingerbread house party for the little ones this morning. When I told H what we were doing he asked when we were going to Ginger's house! We had a great time. There were about 15-20 two to four year olds and their mama's. Thankfully there was a large living area so there was plenty of space for everyone to play.

H (and his bed head) playing with his buddies Virginia and Evie. The girls are twins and he calls them "Evie and the other Evie." It is so fun to see how their little minds process things like twins.

Creating his masterpiece
He was more concerned with eating the marshmallows and lining up the gum drops than actually decorating the house.

While the bigger kids were working on their houses, C enjoyed a little time to play on the floor.

H and Siobhan had a blast bumping up and down the stairs. They were climbing up the stairs and then sliding down over and over again while giggling and laughing!

The moms, tots and the masterpieces.

H's house is the one on the back right. Beautiful, right?
H did it all on his own. I think some of the other kids had some parental help...

Thankfully H isn't too crazy about sweets (except marshmallows and lollipops) so I think his house will survive a few days.
