Just an ordinary day

H has become our early riser in the house.  We are often woken up by little feet moving through the house.  (We have learned to hide his toothpaste for this reason - I have woken up to find him eating/drinking all of the toothpaste out of it!)  If I am awake enough, I like to try to do something a little special with just H.
This morning, we pulled out his doctor kit and gave his "babies" a little check up.

We also made a little music on this Zounds thing.  It is by a company called Zizzle, and is awesome!  It was $2 at Goodwill and I thought it looked pretty cool.  Sort of like a DJ experience for little kids.  N and I had fun playing with it after H went to sleep!  Each shape has a different type of instrument (strings, keyboard, soothing sounds, percussion, bass beat, and cosmic), and you can place them on the different "hot spots" (where the lights are) and it will make music.  You can experiment with tempo, volume, echo and reverb.  It didn't take H long to figure out his favorites - keyboard, soothing, and cosmic, and to figure out how to play with it.  He will get to dancing too!  Here he is playing and singing along.

 Good morning!
We have to choose different activities once this one is awake, because he is a great bulldozer - if he sees something he wants, he will just plow right through anything to get to it and then start grabbing all of the colorful pieces...big brother is learning to do things like puzzles on the table, not the floor.

Mmmmm!  Pancakes!
He was not at all interested in the peaches that I gave him, but went to town on the pancakes.
This boy wants real food!

C looks very victorious!  He finally got H where he wants him!

Enough to wear anyone out!
I can't imagine that H was comfortable sleeping like this - but he brought some of his other "babies" in the rocker with him.
