He is born!

"Baby Jesus came to our house!  It's his birfday!"  (What H said)

A new member of the nativity came to visit every couple of days, so on Christmas morning, they finally all made it.  H was enjoying checking to see who came to visit in the mornings.  

We didn't put any presents under the tree until Christmas morning (mainly because we were worried that they would be demolished well before Christmas), and so on Christmas morning when there were gifts under the tree, H said "Ooohhh, Christmas!!!"  

 H got a few games for Christmas this year, I think I must be excited to play games with him

Elefun was the first game.  We turned it on to play with him and he thought it was great fun - not catching the butterflies in the net, but grabbing them off of the floor. 

Animal 2x2 

- another game.  He now knows what a "humbird" (hummingbird) is.

 C really would have been perfectly happy if we just let him crinkle all of the wrapping paper, but he likes his LeapFrog Brightling Exploration Station.  It is great for little guys, H enjoys it too, and the voices and sounds don't drive me absolutely crazy, so it is a  great toy.

After a couple of gifts, H really got into the unwrapping groove, he got a good strong stance and ripped the paper off!

We had a great Christmas - enjoyed our little family, received some very nice gifts, had a wonderful dinner (ham, sweet potatoes, green beans and pecan pie), and enjoyed a beautiful day together.
