Yesterday was our neighbor, Clara Hartwell's, birthday party. It was a beautiful day for an Easter party! There was chalk, bubbles, jumpers, food and more!
Cake and ice cream. Emma made a cute bunny cake for the birthday girl. Here they are singing Happy Birthday. Anytime H talked about going to the party, he said "I will sing Happy Birthday to you to her."
He spent most of the time jumping. In the past these would overwhelm him, but he happily jumped through most of the party.
Getting ready to hunt for eggs. He seemed to think it was strange that I kept telling him to hold his basket, but he did it anyway.
"Cheese!"
We are into cheesy smiles/poses these days.
Cheese?
C rode throughout most of the party pretty happily, especially if I would give him a cheerio every now and again.
H learned pretty quickly that there were prizes in the eggs. He started shaking them to see what was in them. If they rattled like there was candy in it, he put them in his basket. If it was quiet like a sticker or nothing he left it in the grass.
Checking out his loot. I think this Easter egg hunt was much more successful than last years. Ready for the Easter bunny!
