Thanksgiving Break Snapshots

 Family portraits on the driveway.
The boys drew me and then traced each other on the ground.  They made sure to get all of the features: eyes, ears, nose, and even belly buttons!

We've been loving the rock/cement pile behind our house!  The boys have spent so much time out there climbing, exploring, hammering, digging, throwing handfuls of dirt... We even had a picnic on the rocks one day.  What a wonderful thing to have during Thanksgiving Break!

 Loving our furry friends!

I was certain that this day was shaping up to be wild, but it turned out okay.
C was going around all morning with his "superhero mask" (undies) on, and then when I asked him to put them on, he said "I can't.  They are on the picture."  He had thrown them and they got caught on a picture.  Silly boys!  Always something!

We pulled out the big kid Legos, and the boys are enjoying them!  C built a car wash for his cars, and H built a school for his Squinkies to attend.

Drawing on the chalkboard.  H drew a "green bean with lots of little bites in it"  C was wearing his "drawing hat' (A basket).

 Working on our tic-tac-toe strategy...
H had a hard time understanding that the line had to be straight accross/down/diagonal instead of bending, and C just wanted to draw an O everywhere!  We made it through a few rounds, but it was a little interesting at times.

Playing in the fall leaves!  Beautiful days, we were so happy to be outside!

H is sort of a picky eater, I guess.  He eats pretty well at home, but doesn't eat the school food too well, and was getting a little tired, cranky, and hungry by the end of the day.  I started making his lunch this week and he seems to be enjoying it, and is eating well! PBH (peanut butter and honey) two days a week, and these type lunches the other two days (crackers, meat or nuts, cheese stick, veggies and ranch and apple chips or fruit leather.  And juice or milk)  He was a little nervous about doing something new, but now seems to be enjoying it and is not getting tired and hungry by the afternoon.

 Sillies!
"Anteler mohawk" for C, and a pillow hat for H.
They keep me laughing for sure!

We finished up Thanksgiving Break with a picnic and play time at the play place in their new super hero shirts.
